Why didn't BROTHER EDUARDO V. MANALO obey the last will of BROTHER ERANO G. MANALO?

Answer to Inquiries, Accusations and Slanders
Against the CHURCH OF CHRIST
PART 12

QUESTION:

Why didn't BROTHER EDUARDO V. MANALO obey the last will of BROTHER ERANO G. MANALO that an election for hissuccessor as EXECUTIVE MINISTER be held after the latter’s death?

ANSWER:

This is the claim of those expelled for rebelling against the CHURCH ADMINISTRATION in order to assert that BROTHER EDUARDO V. MANALO is allegedly not the legitimate EXECUTIVE MINISTER; that there is an alleged last will of BROTHER ERANO G. MANALO to hold an election for a successor to the said office after his death, and this is what they allege that KA EDUARDO disobeyed.

DID KA ERDY HAVE A LAST WILL?

The entire CHURCH OF CHRIST is witness (from all the ministers, Church workers, officers and all brethren) to how directives that affect the entire Church are made known to all the members of the Church by the EXECUTIVE MINISTER, from the time of BROTHER FELIX Y. MANALO to the time of BROTHER ERANO G. MANALO until the present CHURCH ADMINISTRATION.

There are basicaly two processes by which every directive of the EXECUTIVE MINISTER of the IGLESIA NI CRISTO is made known to the CHURCH:

FIRST: through the trustees (commonly the General Secretary or anyone in the Economic Council) who direct it to District Supervising Ministers who, in turn, direct it to the Resident Ministers in every local. The Resident Ministers then direct it to the brethren in the local where they are assigned.

SECOND: through the circular letter of the EXECUTIVE MINISTER read at congregational worship services or meeting of locale officers.

Keeping this in mind, there has never been any “directive” from BROTHER ERANO G. MANALO about holding an election for the office of the EXECUTIVE MINISTER after his passing that has ever reached the CHURCH through either of these two processess. There was no such directive that was passed down to the District Ministers, to the Resident Ministers, as well as to the officers. There is also no circular letter of KA ERDY about this alleged “last will” or any election to be held after his passing. THUS, THE ENTIRE CHURCH IS A LIVING WITNESS THAT THERE IS NO SUCH "LAST WILL" FROM BROTHER ERANO G. MANALO.

What is even more dubious about this claim is that the so-called "directive" of BROTHER ERANO G. MANALO that they allege was brought out to public attention only in the year 2015, six years after KA ERDY's death. Of further note is that this came from expelled members who oppose and rebel against the present CHURCH ADMINISTRATION. Another noticeable and telling fact is none of the expelled former ministers like Angel, Marc, Jun Samson and Louie Caybyab, write or talk about such a last will or election. They love getting attention from the mass media or posting on social media, WHY HAVE THEY NOT SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THIS? Who are only anonymous former members who use social media dummy accounts the only ones saying this?

THUS, THERE IS REALLY NO SUCH "DIRECTIVE" OR LAST WILL OF KA ERDY TO HOLD AN ELECTION FOR A SUCCESSOR TO THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE MINISTER AFTER HIS PASSING.
